Additional information:
Training sessions are being adapted to the online format. More details will be available soon. A limited number of registrations with reduced fees for students and participants from developing countries could accepted. These are based on a personal request and should be accompanied by a justification for the need of the fee reduction. Requests can be made to no later than 15 October. A final response will be given no later than 30 November.
The IENE 2020 International Conference will include, as a side event, the Final Seminar of the LIFE LINES project which is co-financed by the European Commission. Participants can attend the seminar free of charge.
Cancelation Policy:
- All cancelations must be notified by email to .
- If you are not able to attend the conference after payment, you may transfer your registration to a substitute attendee, as long as the IENE2020 Organising Committee is notified accordingly.
- If transference is not possible/applicable, a refund policy was established according to the following terms:
- For cancelations received before 15th October 2020, we will refund 100% of the total registration cost. Reimbursements do not cover bank or any other taxes that may apply. That is, those expenses are taken from the total amount to be reimbursed.
- For cancelations received after 15th October 2020, no refunds of the registration fees will be given.
Registered participants that not attended the conference will not be refunded.
Reimbursement policy for cancelled events (e.g. field trips, gala dinner) or reduction in registration fee :
- The requests for reimbursements will only be accepted until 30th April 2021.
- All already cancelled events including field trips, gala dinner and accompanying persons meals will be fully reimbursed.
- Training sessions that may be cancelled in the future, for instance due to low number of registered attenders, will be fully reimbursed.
- Reduced registration fees were defined for the new online Conference. The difference between the previously paid and the actual fees (see "Fees" page for the actual values) will be reimbursed. You can opt not asking for refunding of the fee difference. The amount of money gathered in this way will be used in future IENE activities.
- Reimbursements do not cover bank or any other taxes that may apply. That is, those expenses are taken from the total amount to be reimbursed.
- All the reimbursements should be asked through an email sent to the Conference Secretariat (). To speed up the process, in the email include the following information:
- Conference Registration ID number
- Bank account
- IBAN
- SWIFT
- Bank name
